Perhaps this should really be 'who am I' as I am
whitstablepier.com...... My name is Derek Smith and I started life as a communications engineer. this led to a variety of other jobs including a long spell in the film and TV industry before eventually settling down in the thorny world of tourism marketing. It was during this time that I became interested in the early use of the world wide web for marketing but like many others I found that those out there who made websites were far more interested in using them to display their own talents rather than market my business. Armed with some text books and some determination I decided to have a go myself and ended up producing my own sites. Since those early days I have continued to learn about the web and its marketing and information power - but I like to keep it simple |
| Given my background in the media and marketing I think I am able to
look at projects from all angles and offer simple, effective and low cost
solutions to providing you with a presence on the web. I am always happy to
talk about design and try to meet as many of your criteria as possible.
